This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished; for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? Knock and the Door will be Opened to You

When every door in your life seems closed and you feel stuck with no direction to turn, remember that God eagerly waits to welcome those who knock at the doors of heaven. He may not always open the door to health, wealth, or earthly happiness, but He will always open to the one who is seeking a deeper relationship with Him. As a loving Father, He genuinely desires our greatest good and will always give us what we truly need if we seek Him in faith.

Good News to the Poor

"...And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, 'The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD'... And He began to say to them, 'Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing'" (Luke 4:17-21).
